lmao I love Teen Wolf and I love you guys like you wouldn’t believe, but there are some fucked up things that people say pertaining to ships and characters to the point where sometimes I find half of you as bad as beliebers and that seriously says something.. like, if I were to ask you all to tag sterek pertaining to any gif sets or scenes involving Stiles being hit or physically hurt by Derek at any point throughout the series, it’s because – whether it be comedic relief or not – I consider it fucking abuse and coming from a history of a relationship with a family member involving abuse I don’t think it should be taken lightly? I completely understand that there are triggers on this show – it’s NOT a show to be taken lightly anymore, but this season isn’t the first season to really bring up triggers. 

I’m not trying to sound like a bitch, I’m really not. I understand that people have opinions and such, ands thats cool, yo dude, I respect your opinion so long as it doesn’t disrespect me, and vice versa I hope. But sometimes this damn fandom takes some things to a wholllleee new level. 

Pertaining to Posey and his comment about bizarre: yes, I can somewhat agree with that. Not because it’s two men. Not because I don’t like the ship. But because there’s actual physical abuse between them at points and there’s a huge fucking age difference, assuming Derek is between the ages of 24+. Legally, there can only be a 5 year gap between someone under the age of eighteen and their ‘lover’. Technically, that would be illegal until Stiles turns 18, which then by all means, I’ll just stick to my argument of the abuse. And I know some of you are going to be like, “yo, chill with it.” .. yeah, I could probably say the same to you. Abuse isn’t supposed to be taken lightly – I incorporate my personal experiences into my characters, especially aiden, and anyone who’s heard/read aidens full story pertaining to his past life and the abuse? It’s basically all the shit I went through. So, yes, abuse to me, in any form, whether it be in a completely serious context or in comedic relief, isn’t really okay. There’s a different between, “I’m hitting this person because I seriously don’t like them/they’re a bad guy and I feel threatened” versus “I’m going to hit you, and bang your head off objects because you’re being stupid or you did something wrong but we’re going to maintain a somewhat balanced relationship.” That just doesn’t fly with me, so please understand where I’m coming from. 

I had an actual point to make when I first started this and then I kinda.. lost my train of thought so.. yeah. I’m sorry it’s long, and if you disagree and I’ve offended you, I’m incredibly sorry but this is my opinion, just like you have yours and I’d appreciate it if you just kept that comment to yourself, or if you wanted to message me maturely about it, I’d be totally down to discuss your view on it.
